1930 Prix de Rome Scholarship in Engraving, British School Rome
1932 - Returns to England from Rome
1932-1952 - Takes up teaching position at the Polytechnic School of Art, Regent Street, London
1937 - Marries Sculptor Charlotte Ellen Gibson whom he met in Rome
1936-1937 - Lived at Upper Wilting Farm, St. Leonard's-on-Sea, East Sussex
1940-1958Lived at 2A Melbury Road, Kensington, London, W5
1946 - Elected a Member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers
1959-1962 - Lived at 6 Avenue Court, Mount Avenue, London, W5
1957 - Elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers
1964 - Co-Founds the Society of Wildlife Artists
1979 - Died in Thurrock, Essex
